THE VALENTINE TAPES

Today is apparently some kind of holiday. I mean, is it one besides my cat's birthday, or are you all celebrating the fact that Sadie's 14? Because, if so...d'awwwwww, how sweet.

To mark the occasion, the fine folks over at Four Star Studios have released a new issue of their digital anthology Double Feature. This month's theme? Romance Comics!

So, for a mere $0.99 cents, you can get two short stories about love. One is by J. Torres and Evan "Doc" Shaner, and the other is by myself and the talented Megan Levens (with lettering by Crank!).

"Two Wheels, Two Feet" has been a long time coming, and I am glad to see it out at last. You can get it as a pdf from the website, or grab the Double Feature iPad app and purchase the story through there. Look for the Double Feature Romance Special, that's the one you want!

Here is another look at the cover Megan did for our story. Isn't it something?

These are the sketches she did when designing the image.

And these are the character sketches Megan did before starting the story:

I love Double Feature. It's the best kind of DIY comics: the original artists invented the delivery platform, and now they are supporting genres that don't normally get attention in mainstream comics while also giving the creators control and a clear financial stake in the material.

Current Soundtrack: Tennis, Young and Old - currently only $3.99!
